Looking for tips for fishing off-shore on the Cape

| Hello, everyone.
I am traveling to the Cape next week. Staying in a house on Old Wharf Road in Dennis Port. Looking forward to fishing from the beach across from our house.
Any tips???? Are the waters deep enough to fish from the beach? Are Stripers or Blues running? What bait would you recommend?
