show schedule - 2007/12/10 19:40
hey guys, whats up!
was flicking through teh channels last sunday and noticed this show on CN8 right as it was ending. Totally great, need a fix in the winter.
Okay, would like to see some kind of schedule. I know its on CN8 and 730, but what content can i expect to see on that show on what dates? I mean, i dont want to stay in to see a show and end up watching something lame like perch fishing.. The cn8 website seems to refer me here.
http://ne.cn8.tv/channel/article.asp?lArticleID=4543&lChannelID=653&subhead=addprgrm
thanks..

Hi, thanks for checking in and for watching the show! Yes, On The Hook on CN8, prime time Sunday nights at 7:30pm. I'll post a schedule for you asap, all the shows are salt water sport fishing, nothing wimpy for the most part! Starting in January I'll have some new shows coming on as well, some great action from great locations like Florida, Bahama's and more...Stay tuned and thanks again for checking out the show!

Hey Marcus! I need to be someplace warm! This snow blows!! I have a few trips lined up, we'll see how it goes, something always seems to come up ya know!! If you go down to florida looking for goliaths, make sure you take your own gear, or at least make sure you have a set up that your totally comfortable with. If you saw the show where I attempted to get one, I got my ass kicked like 3 times because I wasn't using something I was comfortable with. The butt end of the rod was to long and it resulted in my arms being to extended forward, no leverage, no power. And, I didn't have a good belt with straps, again, no leverage, no power. If I do it again, which I'd love to do, I'd bring a short pump rod, belt with straps where I could let my body weight do the work and not just my arms. No doubt I got my ass kicked though, those fish get their name Goliath for a reason. Their short, stout and wicked fricken powa-full! (NE Accent!!). January, 2008, I'll have some new shows on, some good stuff, great pogie fishing for bass in Boston Haabaah....always some good tuna stuff and more...OK, stay warm, good fishing!

ayuh!,i remember that show!what a flippin riot!!,look at that, that fish is KICKIN HIS ASS!and went on sayin what you should have done.your right though, any body that does that for a livin like we do should have the proper equipment.i'll be using an avet quad with over 100 lb.s of drag, which i'll never use, with a 5'power stroke broom handle.300 lb.braid with a full harness, then hold on for your life.ithought those big bluefin were a handful.i'm also looin forward to fish the flats and try to improve my {lack of} flyfishin skills.yea,we'll turn ya in to a maine-uh yet.nice hearin from ya buddy and keep ya powda dry!!marc
