Another New Guy - 2007/12/22 12:05
Hi guys (and gals)....another Long Islander here. Before someone asks, the silly screen name is because I'm one of those "insane" Ice Fishermen and that's my "handle" on an Ice Fishing website that I frequent all Winter.
But, when there's no ice around...I'm out on my 31 Wellcraft out of Jones Inlet, LI.
I've seen the show several times and enjoy it immensely. Unfortunately, it's on TV when I'm usually out fishing, so I don't get to see it very often.
This time of year I'm getting ready to fish the "hard-water". We hit lakes and reservoirs in Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Orange counties, with an occasional trip upstate to the Adirondacks.
In the Summer and Fall I'm usually chasing Flounder, Fluke, Sea Bass, Weaks, Stripers, etc. in my local waters, but have been known to travel up to Mass. when the Cod are in.
Nice to be here... will try to check in regularly to see what's up!!
